SBA First Term Syllabus, Schedule and Date Sheet. SBA 2023 – 2024 Curriculum. The School Education Department (SED) of Punjab has introduced the School Based Assessment (SBA) syllabus for the first term of 2024.
This new approach emphasizes a tri-semester system, with each academic year divided into three terms:
- September 2023
- December 2023
- March 2024

Syllabus Details for First Term SBA in SED Punjab
The SBA syllabus for the first term encompasses a comprehensive range of subjects spanning from Grade 3rd to 8th.
Students will engage with the following subjects during SBA term
- English
- Mathematics
- Urdu
- General Knowledge (GK)
- Science
- Islamiat
- Social Studies (SST) / History
- Computer Science
- Ethics
- Taleem-ul-Quran
SBA Date Sheet and Schedule 2023-2024
The School Based Assessment will be conducted according to the following schedule:

| 1st Term SBA | 3rd and 4th week of September |
| Mid-Term SBA | 3rd and 4th week of December |
| End-of-Term SBA | 3rd and 4th week of March |
- 1st Term SBA: The assessment for the first term is scheduled to take place during the third and fourth weeks of September.
- Mid-Term SBA: The mid-term assessment is planned for the third and fourth weeks of December.
- End-of-Term SBA: The assessment for the concluding term will occur during the third and fourth weeks of March.
