Posting of Teachers on Cadre Posts

  • Teachers may be posted anywhere based on their cadre posts.
  • Posting against a specific post or station cannot be claimed as a right.
  • Vacant posts will be filled through e-Transfer on SIS using post-specific merit-based criteria.

Procedure for Online Transfer Applications

  • All teaching staff transfers will be conducted exclusively through the School Information System (SIS).
  • In-service promotions, hardship grounds, mutual, open merit, and newly recruited teachers will also go through the SIS for transfer/posting.
  • Teachers/Educators can apply for transfers/postings online via their SIS login.
  • Relevant documents must be attached to the application in the SIS.
  • Original documents attached to the application must be verified by the concerned District Education Authority (DEA).

Merit List and Objections

  • Tentative merit lists and final merit lists will be displayed on the SIS Portal.
  • Teachers/Educators can view their merit and that of other candidates on the SIS Portal.
  • Objections to merit or other candidates’ merit can be raised through the SIS.
  • Teachers/Educators must submit their replies to objections raised by the DEA through the SIS, along with relevant documents.

QR Coded Transfer Orders

  • SIS will generate QR coded transfer orders for selected candidates.

Posting of Newly Recruited Teachers (Merit Cum Requirement Based)

  • Newly recruited teachers will be posted based on the Department’s requirements and their selection merit.
  • Special focus will be on addressing acute teacher shortages.
  • The appointing authority will issue manual offer letters of appointment to selected candidates.
  • Accepted candidates will be tagged as “new Teacher” on SIS with the offer and acceptance letters and the allocated merit number.
  • Newly recruited Teachers/Educators will select their preferences from available options on the SIS for posting based on merit.
  • All posting orders will be issued through the e-Transfer System.

Posting on In-Service Promotion (Seniority Based)

  • Teachers promoted in-service will be posted based on seniority and available options in the Department.
  • Promoted Teachers’ status will be updated on SIS before the e-Transfer round begins.
  • Preferences for posting will be sought from promoted Teachers during the e-Transfer round.
  • Posting orders will be issued as per seniority and given preferences.
  • If Teachers fail to add preferences or actualize their promotion due to limited options, orders will be issued wherever vacancies are available as per the Department’s requirements.
  • Failure to join the promoted post within the prescribed joining time will lead to forfeiture of the right of promotion.
  • Ex-MCL cadre Teachers on promotion will only be posted in Ex-MCL Schools.
  • If Ex-MCL cadre and General Cadre Teachers apply for the same Ex-MCL school, preference will be given to the Ex-MCL Cadre Teacher.
