STI Interview Schedule / Process and Selection Criteria

  1. Top Ten Candidates for Each Position
    • Interviews will be conducted for the top ten candidates for each available position.
    • Each candidate will be interviewed based on their first preference, and the score obtained will be considered for all applications.
  2. Equal Academic Scores
    • If multiple candidates have the same academic score, all will be invited for an interview to ensure fair consideration.
  3. Verification of Original Documents
    • Candidates must present their original certificates and documents.
    • The provided documents will be verified against the records in the recruitment portal.
    • Any discrepancies, forgery, or incorrect entries will lead to disqualification. Candidates will be informed of the reason, and the decision will be recorded in the portal.
  4. Interview Score Entry
    • The interview score must be recorded immediately in the portal.
    • Once entered, the scores cannot be changed.
  5. Interview Panel Composition
    • Primary and Elementary Schools: The interview panel will consist of:
      • The school head (Convener)
      • An AEO (Assistant Education Officer) or a representative of Grade 16
      • A school council member (appointed by the Deputy DEO)
    • High and Higher Secondary Schools: The panel will include:
      • The school head
      • A Deputy DEO or a representative of Grade 18
      • A school council member
  6. Interview Dates and Scoring
    • Interviews will be conducted on February 3rd and 4th.
    • Scores must be recorded in the portal simultaneously with the interviews.
  7. Complaint Redressal Process
    • The District Education Officer (DEO) office will receive and address complaints regarding the interview process on February 8th.
    • Formal written orders will be issued for complaint resolution.
    • Transparency in the interview process is essential to avoid grievances.
  8. Final Orders and Merit List
    • Final appointment orders will be issued within three days after the final merit list is displayed.
  9. Merit-Based Scoring
    • Interview scores will be awarded purely based on merit, without any bias or external influence.

Responsibilities of Education Officers

  • Deputy DEOs and Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) must ensure that school heads notify the top ten candidates for each position.
