The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued an invitation for applications. The USAT is a national standardised exam used for undergraduate admissions at colleges across the nation.
The USAT, which is based on the format of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and covers all recognised fields of engineering, medicine, information technology, management, and social sciences, will be administered by HEC’s Education Testing Council (ETC).

If they possess the following, students may take the test:
- Achieved a passing grade in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or a 12-year education equivalent.
- Participated in the examinations, and they are awaiting the results.

Students who qualify may apply for USAT at HEC’s ETC. Additionally, they must submit a scanned copy of a 1,200-rupee non-refundable fee challan to HEC’s account at Habib Bank Limited, which has the account number 17427900133401 and the account title: Higher Education Commission.
The universities will continue to individually publicize their admissions policies. Students applying to HEC-accredited colleges must additionally submit their USAT score card in order for it to be taken into account when calculating merit using a weighted algorithm.
The exam will be held on August 28, and the deadline for applications to the USAT 2022 is August 12.
